Chicago is in sync with provocations such a methodical serial killer implacable. The press has given it a name: Aries. Inspector Stephen Aries tries to trace his trail before he had time to put his last threat. But when the coincidences end up looking like evidence, it is on Aries itself that the jaws of the vise threaten to close.
